Royal Gui Fei Oolong

Our Royal Gui Fei Oolong is a Taiwanese variety that is distinctive, honey sweet and unique! Its unique production method is really interesting; green leafhoppers are allowed to bite the tea leaves which causes the leaves to begin the healing process, this produces sweet honey like flavors in this tea and also begins the oxidation process. This tea was produced in the traditional Dong Ding processing techniques. Royal Gui Fei Oolong has a natural sweetness to it and produces no astringency. Notes of wild honey, toast, raw almonds and sweet apples can be detected. We are sure that you will appreciate the intense, aromatic, rich and complex crystal clear honey tea.
